L. J. (a minor) v. State Auto – March 2011The case settled for $39,000 (Uninsured Motorist Claim). This was awarded to a 14-year-old high school student for injuries she sustained from being hit by a car. She was walking from school to McDonald’s. A car struck her as she was walking across the entrance to a parking lot. The driver then left her by leaving the scene of the accident.
