The essay topic will be “7th amendment (right to trial by jury) and how tort reform affects it” and should be approximately 1,000 words long, double-spaced. We will be looking for a well written and edited essay that is structured with concise opening and closing paragraphs, unique insight into the 7th amendment and tort reform.

Stage 2: Community Involvement

Stage 2 will consist of a 250-word explanation of how you are involved in your community. The concentration of the essay should be about how you are making Louisville a better place to live. This portion of the scholarship will count for 50 points on our 100 point grading scale.
