Recall Fisher-Price Little Peoples Builders Load-n- Go Wagon

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, together with Fisher-Price announced a voluntary recall of Little People Builders’ Load ‘n Go Wagon. About 208,000 of these products were recalled in the United States and 2,800 in Canada. The back of the wagon’s plastic handle has molded-in reinforcement. The design adds stiffness and facilitates children gripping the handle. This handle presents a laceration hazard if a child falls on it. Fisher-Price and CPSC are already aware of seven reports of injuries, including five reports of children requiring surgical glue or stitches.

What products are involved?
Involved in the recalled products are Fisher-Price Little People Builders’ Load ‘n Go Wagon model number P8977. Included in the recall are a red wagon with a yellow handle, multi-colored plastic blocks and a dog figure. Wagons with green handle are not included in this recall. The products were manufactured in Mexico and sold at mass merchandise retail stores nationwide for about $25 from June 2009 to July 2011.

If you have this product in your home, immediately take the recalled wagon from your children and contact Fisher-Price for instructions on how to claim a repair kit.
