Finding an activity that the entire family would love to do can be a big challenge. It can be hard to agree on an activity. Fortunately, the Hike, Bike and Paddle Event proved to be a wonderful option for families looking for a fun way to spend the day.
The Hike, Bike and Paddle event
Over 12,000 people participated in this activity, which was held on Memorial Day 2014. From kids with training wheels to their parents who were more than happy to keep them company, everyone was thrilled to get fit and meet people. Aside from the event’s main attractions, there were other activities such as: Zumba, Tai Chi, Pickleball and Yoga. The day was packed with outdoor activities. The attendance for the 2014 event easily topped last year’s, which was around 10,000. We hope to see the numbers grow every time. It’s a great opportunity to spend time with your family.
According to Mayor Greg Fischer, they will do anything they can do to get people out and about with their families. This event is a fun way to exercise, burn some calories and tone up a bit. Organizers said that the day was about finding an activity that a person likes and sticking with it for the summer. We hope that those who took part in the event found an activity that appealed to them. Of course, the day would not have been complete without honoring those who have served our country. A ceremony was dedicated for all the men and women who fight hard to keep the rest of us safe. To those who were not able to join the event, you still have the opportunity to do so on Labor Day. Make sure to invite your loved ones to come along with you.
As a Kentucky Accident Attorney, I congratulate everyone behind the Hike, Bike and Paddle event for their efforts. It was a great activity for families. I hope they look forward to attending this event again. Let’s live a healthy life together with our family.
