University of Florida Student Killed in Kentucky Accident

Michelle Moses of Mason, Ohio was making her way home for the holidays when she was killed in an accident on Interstate 75 near Richmond, Kentucky. 

On Saturday evening, December 20 Michelle Moses, who was driving a red Mazda, was reportedly hit in the rear of her car as she attempted to change lanes on northbound Interstate 75.  The impact caused her car to lose control and come to rest on the median.  It is unclear as to whether Moses then got out of her car or was ejected when another car, a Ford Mustang,  struck her car and sent her over the median where she was hit several times by traffic in the southbound lanes.

Due to multiple traumatic injuries Moses was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the Mustang was also injured in the crash.  The accident caused both directions of the interstate to be shut down for several hours for investigative
