Pedestrian Hit and Killed in Pike County Kentucky

Saturday evening around 6:45 a man was struck and killed in Pike County Kentucky. The man has been identified as 62-year-old James Chapman.
Kentucky State Police report that Chapman was walking along U.S. 119 when he was hit by a woman driving a jeep. He was then struck again by another vehicle that left the scene. Chapman was pronounced dead at the scene. The police are still looking for any information on a light colored passenger car that left the scene.
The incident report also states that Mr. Chapman was wearing dark jeans and a dark shirt when he was struck.
