DUI Fatal Results in Several Charges

Last Thursday evening a wreck on the Gene Snyder Freeway took the life of 26-year-old Max McLeod. The accident occurred on the Gene Snyder at Taylorsville road. At the time of the accident McLeod was taken to University Hospital but later died due to his injuries.

Also involved in the accident was Mitchell Westin who has been charged with wanton endangerment, assault, criminal mischief, and DUI in connection with the death of McLeod.

The victim in this case is the son of Radcliff, Kentucky police officer Branson McLeod. Officer McLeod has been recognized and honored many times by both the state and the Radcliff Police Department for DUI enforcement.
