Saturday morning on Interstate 71 in Gallatin County Kentucky a crash took the life of 43-year-old Charles Wohlfrom. Kentucky State Police investigating the accident blame road conditions for the collision. At the time of the crash the roads had become slick due to freezing rain.
Wohlfrom was traveling the interstate when he lost control of his truck and crossed the median into oncoming traffic. He struck another vehicle head-on. The driver of the other vehicle, Deborah Corum, was uninjured. Both Corum and Wholfrom were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
According to police there were several other accidents on Kentucky roads due to treacherous driving conditions.
