Q: Who will pay to fix my car?

A: The insurance company of the person who hit you will pay to have your vehicle fixed. Should that insurance company contest liability (who’s fault the accident is) they may not want to pay for your car immediately. If this is the case, if you have collision coverage on your policy, you may want to turn the repair of your vehicle over to your insurance company and pay your deductible. Your insurance company then would attempt to collect the deductible back for the at fault parties insurance company.
