What Do I Do If I Am In A Car Accident?

I saw two car accidents on Bardstown Road in Louisville, Kentucky over the weekend and from what I observed I knew many people didn't know the simple steps to take to protect their rights.
  • Do I pull over? 
  • Do I call the police? 
  • There is very little damage to  my car. Is it okay to exchange insurance information?
  • I am in in a hurry. Can I deal with it later?
  • The person that hit me seems nice. I won't bother calling the police.
