

Two Fatalities on Kentucky Roads Over Holiday Weekend-Kentucky Accident Attorney

Type: Two accidents over Memorial Day weekend claims two lives.
Friday night in Warren County, Kentucky Kenneth Boss of Bowling Green, Kentucky died when he was traveling on Bristow Road. He left the road and went down an embankment before crashing into two trees.
The incident happened just after 5:30 Friday night on Bristow Road, near the intersection of South Goshen Church Road.
The Kentucky State Police report that another accident occurred in Campbellsburg, Kentucky on Sunday evening. State Police report that on U.S. 42 in Gallatin County the accident occurred when a driver turned in front of a vehicle driving in the opposite direction. Lonna D. Kehrer of Sanders, Ky., was killed and three other people in her vehicle suffered serious injuries. The driver of the other car, Brian J. Ritchey II of Bluff City, Tenn., had minor injuries.
Two children were injured in the accident. Kaitlyn Keith, age 9 and Savannah Stevens,age 3 were both taken to Cincinnati's Children's Hospital. None of the occupants of either vehicle were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
Police now can issue a citation for not wearing seatbelts. It is a wise pratice and can save lives.
