No 16 year old really wants to take driver education. The thought of driving around in a car with a sign on top that says new driver is just not cool. Maybe that is why as a parent we want our kids to participate in these classes. It takes the pressure off us, so we don't have to teach them the basics of how to be a good driver. The real question is "Do driver education classes help to prevent new drivers from being involved in serious auto accidents on our Kentucky roads?" What else can be done to educate new drivers?
