Shelbyville Accident Kills One and Injures Another

In Shelbyville, Kentucky on Friday night a man lost his life in an automobile accident.  The accident occurred on La Grange Road when a car being driven by Roy Mullins of Monroe, Ohio crossed the center line striking another car head on.  The driver of the other car, Thomas A. Alvarado of La Grange, Kentucky, died as a result of the accident.

There are many reasons that a car will cross the center line of the road.  Most all of them are preventable.  Unfamiliarity of the road can be remedied by driving slower.  Speeding, again drive slower.  Fatigued driving , don’t get behind the wheel if you are to tired to be alert and responsible for your actions.  There is also the influence of drugs and alcohol.  It is never acceptable to drive while under the influence.
