Monday evening, November 3rd at about 7 p.m. a man was hit by a car in the 3800 block of Breckinridge Lane. The victimhas been identified as 41-year-old Travis Caudell, Jr. Mr. Caudell, dressed in dark clothes was crossing the street when a car driving south struck him. He was transported to University Hospital where he died not long after arriving. The cause has not been released.
The Louisville Metro Police traffic unit is currently investigating and say that more than likely there will be no charges placed against the driver.
