Motorcyclist died in Watterson Expressway
Louisville, Kentucky motorcycle accident attorney
One Saturday evening just before 7 p.m. a grey Saturn collided with a motorcycle going westbound on the Watterson Expressway near Dixie Highway and Cane Run Road.
The driver of the motorcycle and a passenger were taken to the University Hospital. The driver of the Saturn was also brought to the university Hospital.
The motorcyclist was later identified as David Woosley, 63 years old from 2200 Bradford Road and was a former Houston School District teacher who retired year 2007.
The accident caused Woosley to suffer from blunt force injuries and he later died in surgery at around 8:43 p.m. at the University Hospital.
The Louisville Metro Police Department is still in the process of investigating the real cause of the crash and if alcohol was involved.
Our prayers and sympathies are with David Woosley and his family and also to those who were involved. May the real cause of the crash later be known.
