TYPE 8-year-old Destiny Marie Haney was killed on Saturday afternoon when the ATV she was on crashed.
In a devastating accident on Saturday afternoon in Scott County Kentucky a young girl lost her life. The accident happened as a Kawasaki ATV being driven by a 13-year girl from Lexington, Kentucky flipped and rolled over on a child riding in the back.
The child has been identified as 8-year-old Destiny Marie Haney from Lexington, Kentucky. The Georgetown-Scott County Emergency Medical Services supervisor reported that the victim was found without a pulse or respiration. Attempts were made to resuscitate her back but were sadly unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead at Georgetown Community Hospital. It has not been reported as to whether the children were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
It is devastating for the families and loved ones of all involved in the tragic accident. Our condolences go out to all.
