Ice Cream Truck Driver Killed in Highway Accident

Apparently, in the early morning hours of July 7th Steven Jackson, age 41, was killed while driving an ice cream truck. His death was the result of an accident on northbound Interstate 264 near Dumesnil Street in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. It seems the truck hit a guardrail ejecting Mr. Jackson from the truck. He died at the scene.  The truck kept going for a short distance before striking another vehicle which was parked on the side of the road. Fortunately, there was not anyone near or in the vehicle on the side of the road.  Alledgedly, the seatbelt in the truck was not operable therefore Mr. Jackson was not wearing one.
