

High School Senior Samantha Mathus-Cooper Killed in Shelby County Accident-Louisville, Kentucky-Fatal Accident Attorney

Type: 18-year-old Samantha Mathus-Cooper was killed and three others were injured last night in a single vehicle accident.
For the second time on one week a high school senior is killed in an automobile accident just days before graduation. Breck Young of Jefferson County was killed last Friday afternoon when he lost control of his vehicle hitting a tree and then a house. Last night another senior was killed in Shelby County when the car she was riding in lost control left the road and crashed through a fence before flipping several times. Samantha Mathus-Cooper died at the scene while the driver along with the other two passengers were transported to University Hospital in Louisville. Samantheawas scheduled to graduate from Shelby County High School. The identities and conditions of the others have yet to be released. Police say that drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor while speed may have been.
