Accident Involving Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Truck Claims Life of Another Driver-Kentucky Wrongful Death Attorney

TYPE: Accident between Kentucky Transportation Cabinet truck and a Nissan pick-up truck claim the life of pick-up truck driver.
Thursday afternoon on the Gene Snyder Freeway in Jefferson County Kentucky near the Old Henry Road exit a
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet truck was traveling approximately 10 miles per hour while it sprayed a herbicide around the
cable barriers. It appeared the KYTC truck was partiallyon the shoulder and partially in the right lane at the time of the accident.
The KYTC truck was struck from behind by another truck, a black Nissan, and the driver suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The driver's name has not been released yet.
Witnesses are being interviewed to determine if the KYTC truck was using the flashing lights and arrow board at the time of the accident. The road was closed for over three hours. Our sympathies go to the family of the deceased.
