Late Saturday night in Milton, Kentucky located in Trimble County 35-year-old Jamie A. Walker of Sellersburg, Indiana was killed in an accident on U.S. 421.
The car, a Chevy Malibu, was being driven by 28-year-old Adrian Guadalupe III when just before midnight lost control and overturned. The passenger, Walker, was ejected and later died at a hospital in Madison, Indiana. Guadalupe was trapped inside the car and had to rescued by emergency personnel. Police have reported that neither Walker or Guadalupe were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
Once rescued, Guadalupe was charged with a DUI (driving under the influence), and having an open alcohol container in the motor vehicle. Because of the death of his passenger he has also been charged with second-degree manslaughter. He is currently being held in the Carroll County Detention Center.
