Driver Charged With Manslaughter After Fatal Accident in Kentucky

Fatal Accident in Henry County Kentucky Results in Driver’s Arrest-Kentucky Accident Attorney

LOCATION:     I-71, Henry County Kentucky

TYPE:     Crash on I-71 kills one.

Late Sunday night on I-71 an accident occurred when the driver of a SUV lost control of his vehicle and ran into a support beam. The passenger in the SUV was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. The victim, whose identity has not been released, died as a result of being thrown from the vehicle.

The driver of the SUV has been identified as Esteban Valasquez. Valasquez immediately fled the scene on foot but was apprehended later. Kentucky State Police have reported that Valasquez has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident, manslaughter and DUI.

This tragedy is a horrific reminder to everyone that drinking and driving is against the law for a reason. It also reminds us that it is always a good idea to wear seat belts.
