Do Kentucky Accident Victims Do Better in Trial or Settling?

There are many challenges that Kentucky accident victims face after they have been in an accident.  They need to make sure that they are okay physically, that their bills will be paid if they need to be off work, they also have to face the insurance companies, repair centers, doctors and possibly lawyers.

Accident victims are thrust into a world that is generally foreign to them and are expected to make decisions that could change the rest of their lives.  One of these decisions is whether they should take the offer of settlement from the insurance company or roll the proverbial dice and go to trial.

Based on a study out of New York I have written an article that outlines whether accident victims fare better by settling out of court or putting their case in front of a jury.   Every case is unique and what may be true for one may not hold true for others.  Know and understand all of your options before you make any big decisions.  This is true for all big decisions.
