In
Todd County Kentucky on Wednesday morning a crash took the lives of 72-year-old George Tolliver and 2-year-old Adam Grant. Tolliver was from Todd County and Grant was from Springfield, Tennessee.
At 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning at the intersection of Highway 41A and 181 near the Kentucky-Tennessee state line a Jeep crossed the center line. State troopers believe the strong wind may have may have been a factor in the vehicle crossing the center line. The Jeep hit Tolliver’s white truck head on. A van traveling behind the truck did not have time to stop and crashed into the truck. None of the van’s occupants were injured.
The weather in the area has been so unsettled recently that it is very important as a driver to be aware of the conditions. There are precautions you should take when driving in
high winds as well as in rain and snow. Taking precautions may help prevent accidents on the roads.
