A Ford Fiesta car crashed in the rear end of a Jefferson County School Bus on February 15, 2011. The incident happened just before 7:30 in the morning at the Intersection of Manslick Road and Holly Park Drive near Iroquois Park.
JCPS spokeswoman Lauren Roberts said that the JCPS Bus 0287 was on its way to Farnsley Middle School when it was hit by the Ford Fiesta as the bus was stopping to pick up a student. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries obtained by the students due to the crash. The students then were loaded on to another bus and taken to school.
According from the Police, there were three people inside the Ford Fiesta. The mother, who is in her 30's, is the driver with her two young girls, 3 and 4 years old which were taken to the hospital for precautionary measure and the 3-year-old girl incurred minor lacerations to the head.
It was being reported that the mother may have been distracted but no charges are expected at this time.
It is very important that once you are in front of your wheel and driving in a Kentucky road, submit wholly on your driving especially when you are with your family to avoid any car accidents and keep you all safe. Free yourself from any distractions - cell phones, make ups and even eating your breakfast. Stay focused and always pays attention to where you are going.Post a Comment to "Car Wreck in South Louisville, Kentucky"
