Four Car Accident In Bullitt County Kentucky Kills Michael L. Workman

Michael L. Workman of Taylorsville, Kentucky Dies in Collision-Kentucky Accident Attorney
DATE:     October 18, 2009
LOCATION:      Mt. Washington, Kentucky
TYPE:     Fatal collision in Bullitt County, Kentucky kills one and injures others.

Early Sunday morning a four car collision on U.S. 31E in Mt. Washington killed 22-year-old Michael L. Workman and seriously injured 22-year-old Kevin Sullivan.  No other injuries were reported.

According to the Kentucky State Police the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Sullivan was traveling north in the southbound lane and hit another vehicle driven by Joseph Smith. Sullivan’s car then hit Workman’s northbound car.  At this point Workman’s car was then struck from behind by another northbound vehicle driven by Robert Gaddie of Radcliff, Kentucky.

Both Sullivan and Workman had to be extracted from their vehicles and were flown to University HospitalMichael.   Workman died at 2:30.  Sullivan was listed in serious condition as of Sunday.

The Kentucky State Police also report that all passengers and drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.  It cannot be said often enough, seatbelts do save lives.
